Serious question < 250

What is the bare minimum number of people needed to make an event happen? Assuming they only let 30 riders try to qualify per class and a mechanic for each. How many other people would we need? We are at 120 with the numbers i threw out.

You could limit the media and even have 1 announcer or no announcer. Anyone have factual numbers on the bare minimums to make it happen?

I mostly was wondering regarding Indy. Track was built, i cant fathom that they couldnt possibly make it work with 250 or less at that point.

What would be the bare minimum for tv, flaggers, team personnel. Is it 500, is it 300? I just dont see how they couldnt make cuts to get to 250 if they needed to.

To what end? I know we all want to see a race, but running a compromised skeleton-crew race in front of nobody, when the whole season looks to be on the verge of cancellation seems pointless.

Track crew, AMA, medical, security, food vending cops TV crew etc.plus bike dudes and riders. Doubt Feld makes enough from rights sales to get near loss of ticket revenue

Team Personnel: 120 minimum
Flaggers: 10
Medical Staff: 10
TV Crew: 15
Media: 5

That's 280
Each team has a driver, a mechanic, and a second guy.

Other...I'm sure there are others needed.
Maybe if you restricted it to just the top 20 in points...40, 40, 80, 10, 10, 15, 5, leaves 50 for other.
