So need advise vital village. Down sizing to one bike. Figure my 06cr250 will bring more to the table has a lot of awesome parts on it even a custom machined case saver, brand new hubs .D.I.D stx dirt star rims fresh Dunlop's ,PC platinum pipe motoseat custom complete seat racetech springs in fork and shock and restyle kit to name a few. Cost of bike and what I have in for parts would asking 4k obo be to crazy... Need input!

Then I have my trusty 08CRF250 4 smoker been great bike but I want one last new bike or I may walk away from riding for a year (probably not) has almost the same wheels and tires. I'm the original owner. Again need input!

If it were me, I would keep the two stroke. Even if I had to sell the 4 stroke and have to ride for another year to save up for a new bike, I’d still have the CR. I say this because I have unfortunately sold bikes that I regret. Especially since it looks like the money you have in it is more than you’d get back for it. I’m getting older so I’m a little more sentimental about my bikes now though. To me the crf250 is disposable, the CR is not. Good luck

I did this very thing last fall, sold off a very nice '14 RM-Z450 and a purchased new 2002 RM250. I was really only spending time on the four stroke, the two stroke simply never got used....in a perfect world I would have both

Picked up a '19 KX450 and couldn't be happier with the choice, I upgraded all around, no regrets and having a freshy is pretty cool

That being said, I find myself searching FB Marketplace for a two stroke project, but something dirt cheap that I can take vintage racing. Not sure I am helping here, but I always thought the best bike is the next bike

The cr250 is going to a friend from work maybe. I got his son into the sport and his 09crf blew a bottom end. Repair bill is crazy.... I could always get it back but a new to me left over 18 would be so sick. Thanks for the input!

Right ! Pretty much need pushed into it . Again appreciate the input. Now it's time to find the right bike and right deal.

That crf is dope i built one kinda like that a couple years ago!!!


It ran better than the 14 i had.

Thank you moto breh ! Has the graphics kit right before TLD went to pumpkins... Thought about slapping a 2 smoker in the 08er...

I just saw a 18crf250 for 4900 on fb but already gone.

Electronic start would be cool too I race RC off road and the lipo batteries would be cake for me to maintain. So that is key... A fat button I call emSilly Ill update once I make a move just stinks a bit cause I laced the wheels on both so I spent time /$ I'll never get back.
