That speed and technique he got just blows my mind sometimes. Did you see those pass he made at the beginning of main 2 ? Wow...

The only thing that hurt Seely this round was his third race start, he could have won this thing. Was rooting for him

What do you mean the only thing that hurt him was his third race start?... Its not a small thing to stuff up, he was 16th in the first turn and 13th at the end of the first lap.

There has to be a bit of a self-belief thing with him also. Loads of talent, not really ever the guy. Sometimes I think it kinda shows, bit like Savatgy.

Fuck he's good to watch ride.

Yeah but Savatgy has been/is the guy for his team, can't say that Canciarulo has seniority over him at PC.

Stupid thread title, he had Eli the 2nd moto until he slipped up going for the kill.
Third moto start sucked.

I'm talking deep cuts. Going back to their amateur days...

Savatgy apparently didn't go after the class, sometimes dodging, etc Seely was immensely talented, didn't kill it like some others... Both amazing, but not the IT guy. That has kinda carried into their pro-careers when you think about it. Joey has been in a position to win a lot and Cole talent wise is better than his results for sure.

Seely's interviews say something to me. When he was asked how he felt being added to the MXoN team, he said " I have already achieved more than I ever hoped so I don't know" Then he said the same thing after A1 this year..
It may be a good mindset, less pressure on himself, but does he want it bad enough? Now it seems he is mostly motivated by his desire to represent Honda and his sponsors well, which seems to be working fine for him.
Either way, he's having a great season and I'm a fan. Anytime he beats JA21 I smile. He's been on the short end of those incidents too many times.

By Winning one of the main events does he get counted as a main even winner?

If you look at Cole's last lap durning the first main event, just before the finish he executes the perfect brake slide pivot turn, just a thing of beauty. I have not seen someone do that with such perfect technique since Villopoto.

I don't believe so. I may be wrong.

You should not smile often Tongue

I liked how Cole has executes the slide brake pivot turn, it was beautiful, Cole is one of the most skilled rider's, no doubt.

If Cole pull his fingers out of his ass (better late than never) it's because his ego is pissed off to see his big rival Anderson in front. He needs to make it happend and he did good.

He’s “in it” this year. He’s in the pints race and he’s pushing himself harder thru-out the main(s) this year. This is the fastest most consistent Cole I’ve seen on a 450.

While we’re on the topic of warrior, I’ll take the opportunity to air a grievance I’ve had with some of the language coming from people in this sport.

Not to diminish anyone - all of these competitors are better than I’ll ever be at what they do, but in my opinion terms like “combatant”, “warrior”, etc. are misplaced in the context of professional sports, including motocross and supercross.

Again, mad props to Kenny Roczen and his amazing recovery, but when I hear Ralph Shaheen make statements such as:

“making massive sacrifices, that’s just a part of their every day routine” - “they treat broken bones like the rest of us treat the common cold” - “they don’t know fear...”

The last one I actually agree with. They don’t know fear. At least not on a level anywhere near those who are actually deserving of the title “warrior”

Not a Honda guy but Seely, damn....such natural skill and flow. If he just believed in himself more I believe he could take this title....

It was highly entertaining watching Seely throw down some speed and talent at A2. What a ride! Good night for him.

Seely is legit and deserves that factory Honda ride. He never rides over his head and rarely makes mistakes. In my opinion, just needs to get more aggressive like Anderson, and he'll be a title contender.

Brayton was moving through the pack too, pretty sure they still ride together.
Yeah, saw a pic on Twitter of Brayton & Cole high diving after Coles win. Brayton said they’re good friends and practice together.

Yes but I meant that I don't think winning 1 of the 3 counts towards a main event win, I think you have to win the overall for that.
