Nagging injuries? He was riding good in moto 1. And faded towards the end, probably lack of bike time.

yeah I did wonder if its just conditioning after the time off to heal from the SX injury

I don't think his groin/adductor strain is fully healed yet. So would assume he has been on a limited practice schedule since Supercross. He has the speed to be up front. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get some results.
