I live 27 miles outside Seattle and this morning i woke up and could see the sun rising over the cascades. I have full faith
in what the dirt Works crew can accomplish with an entire day of 65 degree weather here in the NW. If you thought about staying home don't. This could be the best race of the season. Usually the dirt breaks down, but i think this year it will harden up a little more and provide more battles than any other round. this is just my opinion, but today has changed my mind in going. See you at the races. RIP Brandon Layton most skilled rider to ever come out the NW.

Yes i think brandon was the best talent from the NW. He was taken to soon. I have spent time with many pros from this state and he would have been the best. If you Know NW Moto you know who Sunny Jim was, as well as Screwy Dillas and Logan Built.

Not sure what they can do will matter much. It will rain most of, if not all day tomorrow. Also, it was just raining/light showers at the north end(farthest I went) of Seattle in a few areas to Shoreline about an hour ago.

He's saying Brandon Layton was much better than Villopoto, the Hill bros, Eric Eaton, Lance Smail, the Larson bros, the Sun bros, etc...

Many people dont even know who Brandon was. He was the Best thing to come out of the NW until he moved to Cali and got into a track incident that took his life. I have spent time with several Pro riders, that in their own right are great. But to say brandon was not in a league of his own is wrong. All the Pros, people have listed are great riders, but you could evan ask lance about Brandon and he would tell you the same thing. Ryan V's original trainer Jay Whipple thought the same. Didn't want to upset anyone, or hurt anyone's feelings. I just think a rider like brandon should not be forgotten.

Laytons old hideaway track is still in use by many people out in the backwoods of a reservation. Pretty special place.

It was nice all day, but I went and peeked into the stadium. I don't think the sun did much to dry it out.
