If Roczen would have stayed tight behind Dean in that corner Webb wouldn’t have room to make that pass on the inside.
Poor mental game by Roczen going all the way to the outside of a wide flat corner when he knew Webb was right there.

I’ve been a dean wilson fan since his pro circuit days and I just don’t know what to say right now. He’s made some dumb moves but that was up there. Not sure how all the other lappers got the message but not him.

Nah really, wanted Ken to win but also ddon’t want Deano to be at fault. Is what it is. Ken could have done more to protect the lead. Deano doesn’t own this, he was racing too

Dean called himself an idiot... multiple times. He knows he messed up. Dean himself said it was his fault and he also said he affected the outcome of the race apologizing to Kenny. But somehow there are still people on here saying otherwise. Dean apologized because he’s been the guy out front and knows better, the rest of you... welll are probably the lappers hahahaha

You do realize that Deano admitted he screwed up, right? Stop trying to defend what he did. Dean isn't even trying to defend it at this point. He admits he screwed it up. Its over. Ken moved on from it. Its not like KR needs the win money. If anything, it should be a message to Ken that he needs to be more assertive if he wants to win this championship. But trying to defend what Wilson did as being justified is ridiculous - Dean himself has even said so.

Ken was likely thinking DW would move over on the last lap and get out of the way like most elite top 10-15 450 riders (best in the world) would have done and did all night. Its not like Dean is some occasional main event LCQ qualifier that snuck into the main. He's a former lites champion, consistent top 10 rider that's podiumed at the highest level in his sport. He's knows the drill. If KR gets out of the fastest line so he can pass (the line Dean was in) and then Dean gets out of the main line like he should have, he would have left the fastest line for Cooper. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. It was just an all around shitty deal. Dean either had his head totally up his ass, or he did it intentionally. The lap times are not in Dean's favor for it being just a head up his ass kind of deal. There's just no excuse.
