The 89 series goggles were replaced by several models in the later years that used the same lenses and tearoffs. However, that family of goggles appears to have been stopped altogether now. Scott does not offer those tearoffs anymore. I'd assume you'll only find them if a dealer just happens to have some old stock hanging around.

I may have a couple laying around along with a lens or two. I keep my bike stuff at a different location but I'll try to remember to take a look. May not be until the weekend.

Yeah, I remember them getting renamed and those are the ones I have.

It sucks that style of lense has been around for so long and the laminated tear offs have even discontinued.

Cheap tear offs still sells rhe regular ones so I should be good to go

Thanks everyone for the help and feedback

I have about 5 pair of Scott goggles . I am tired of the 50 different types of tearoffs and Googles so I'm slowly switching over to 💯 . I like these better and it's much easier to by the tearoffs now

It's the same tearoff as the Recoil. Sold in 20 packs How many packs do you want me to sell you?

That’s what happens when you have been making quality goggles since the 70s. Even the old styles are still good but in the current line up you have Prospect and Fury which take the same tear offs. Then you have the Hustle x and spilt OTG ( over the glasses) both these frames share the same tear offs.

I've been wearing Scott or Oakley but mostly Scott since the '80s but now it's just more of a pain in the ass to have all those different types of tear-offs because I have some older sets of goggles.

Yes even the older ones from the 80s are still good but I would suggest grabbing a pair of the new ones. Just for the simple fact the lens locks into the frame for safety not to mention updated foam and the only goggle made in the US 🇺🇸

I actually like the 💯 better for the price and I don't have to worry about getting the wrong tear offs lol

If you ever want to get rid of some of your old Scott goggles let me know. I like the old 89s to put in my 90s helmets on display! 👍

There are at least 3 different sizes of 100% tear offs now.

The 100% perimeter sealed tear offs are great when it is super dusty but they are super expensive.
