I have no words.

This picture is from a test in 97 at Edwards AFB. We used that track a lot back then for out door testing. Scott was always happy, always brought coffee to the shop he was just a good person to be around.

The last thing he txt me before his crash was “talk soon”. I wish we had that “soon” to talk.

Damn. You just don't expect this to happen at this point in a rider's career and life. RIP Scott Sheak.

Rip Scott...looked up to this guy as a little kid he’s one of the best riders to ever come out of NY. Even just a few years ago he was winning the 450A class at local races and was amazing to watch. Everyone that I know thought the world of him

Found this photo a friend took in the back of an old tool box a while back. Red Budd 1992, we were both part of the Team Green program at the time and I always liked to think I was passing him on the inside of this uphill off camber but likely he was just going around me on the outside on his way to the front. So bummed to hear of his passing.

RIP, Iron Sheak!

Horrible news, Rest In Peace.

I have vivid memories of watching the Paris-Bercy supercross live on TV in the year 1997, where Scott won a main event on the 1st night of racing in the 125cc class. Allways remembered his name since then.

Here is the result of that race:

Terrible news and I am also really shocked by road to recovery's announcement .

They said, "pneumonia and staph infections", while they talk about the "immense costs of his hospitalization and care". That is scandalous as those infections were obviously caught at the hospitals. I will send r2r an email to recommend them to hire good lawyers, as I think the hospitals can suck it. The hospitals messed up and there is no way Sheak's family should pay a dollar, it is more the contrary. It will never bring him back unfortunately, but hopefully it will not further aggravate his family's situation.

RIP Legend.

You know nothing about what the doctors did or didn’t do and you won’t but you jump to “lawyer up” immediately? RIP Scott

I don't know how you can be so assertive about what happened, but I'd keep cautious with words like "scandalous" and "obviously"...

Tragic chain of events for sure, and sad, sad news anyway.
Godspeed.
