Terrible news.
Best wishes to friends and family.
This picture is from a test in 97 at Edwards AFB. We used that track a lot back then for out door testing. Scott was always happy, always brought coffee to the shop he was just a good person to be around.
The last thing he txt me before his crash was “talk soon”. I wish we had that “soon” to talk.
The Shop
Positive vibes to his loved ones
Hopefully the family can find peace.
RIP, Iron Sheak!
I have vivid memories of watching the Paris-Bercy supercross live on TV in the year 1997, where Scott won a main event on the 1st night of racing in the 125cc class. Allways remembered his name since then.
Here is the result of that race:
Pit Row
Terrible news and I am also really shocked by road to recovery's announcement .

They said, "pneumonia and staph infections", while they talk about the "immense costs of his hospitalization and care". That is scandalous as those infections were obviously caught at the hospitals. I will send r2r an email to recommend them to hire good lawyers, as I think the hospitals can suck it. The hospitals messed up and there is no way Sheak's family should pay a dollar, it is more the contrary. It will never bring him back unfortunately, but hopefully it will not further aggravate his family's situation.
RIP Legend.
Tragic chain of events for sure, and sad, sad news anyway.
Godspeed.
