First time I've seen a carbon end cap on a two stroke silencer....TRICK!

My friend and TM importer (and racer) Pete Vetrano is distributing these pipes in the US.

Pete's number is 909.608.0082 and Scalvini website

At the top of the page they show a wild dual outlet muffler like Yoshimura but I didn't have time to ferret out for what model it is for.

I talked to him at Glen helen a month or so ago. I can't remember the exact price but it was comparable to PC and FMF. I think it was a little more but I don't remember sticker shock. They look super cool in person.

the cone pipes do look cool.

last time i was in the UK, i picked up a DEP system- they make a version especially for 144 bigbores; plus their silencer is quite long for Euro spec

I have this one on my RM250. SRS Racing from Italy. Carbon Fiber with machined (not stamped) aluminum end cap. I don't remember what I paid, but it wasn't too bad (less than $200).

I'm sure they're out there, but I've never seen another one.

I have a Scalvini for my KTM 250 sx. It is a great pipe. It feels alot like the PC pipe. I prefer the fmf factory fatty though.

Wow. I just went to their website. That stuff is unreal. Very trick and exotic - and not completely outrageou$.

Are SRS and Scalvini Racing related somehow?

That YZ pipe is beautiful. Too bad whoever owns it fails miserably at installing graphics

the whole system costs 5-600 bucks, that's not bad for a cone pipe and a carbon silencer, you can't touch a carbon/ti system on a 4 stroke for even close to that, heck you'd be lucky to get a full SS system for that on a 4

I was thinking of getting that combo for my yz, looks trick. someone smashed my stock pipe so I got an FMF asap and now I just bent my silencer so I ordered a Leo Vince which is very nice as well and has carbon end cap similar to above.

June MXA shows

Pipe $279 (50cc to 144cc) $329 (250cc t0 300cc)

Silencer aluminum carbon $175
Silencer all carbon $225

Scalvini got four stars and this from MXA

This is a very good 125cc two stroke pipe, but most of all it fulfills the dream of having an old-school, cone pipe-just like the works bikes of the olden days.

What footpegs do you have on the rm125? They look lower than stock..... I have the fastway ones even on the high setting and the have a slight tilt forward and I'm not liking them as much as I thought I would ..... HoweverI need some lower than stock pegs and judging from the tall seat im assuming youre a tall rider

Sorry if I hijacked just needed to know

I've got these on both of my 2T TM's, because, while they are a little expensive, they're still cheaper than the OEM pipes (in the UK) and there is no other option!

Also got one the dual exit one on the TM250F - 'cos I love it! Wink

thanks Rock- i stand corrected and sincerely apologize.....$280 is a decent price for a cool pipe like that.

this could be you lucky day.....those pegs are actually moose offroad with the 12mm rear offset. i have a second set i took off my rm250, they are yours for $50 shipped.

They also make a full kevlar silencer for a bit of extra support. Buying a cone pipe and kevlar or carbon silencer is still cheaper than just the exhaust for a 4 stroke. You could buy 2 sets for the price of one exhaust pipe.

That's nothing new. My dad used to have a carbon silencer on his '96 RM 250 from Bills Pipes. Except that one didn't have the carbon end cap like they do now.

Cool! Pm me your address and info and can we do it thru paypal? I may need to use a card.... Those are exactly what I'm looking for and this way I won't hook my rear brake going off the face of jumps .... Scary stuff ....the fastway are too close these are perfect!

Tried Scalvini on Honda 450 (tuned) Had to remove it. It shortened the register crazy much. (opposite what we wanted) PC, Acra and new FMF tops everything. (we tried a lot of pipes and doesn't work for magazine just prorider) Also HGS was really good but you can't add more weight than a complete ti-bolt kit takes off can you?

Thanks guys :-) the pipe fits awesome definitely worked great at the track on Sunday. The silencer fit great as well BUT was 17" long & went almost to the end of my fender & that was totally unacceptable :-) so I cut 9" of it & it barks now & isn't that loud at all. The crackle it has sounds like works 250 stroke on the track! The pipe was $350 & the full carbon silencer was very expensive at $350 especially seeing as I cut it basically it in half. You can get many verisons of the silencer to & get the cost down to around $200 also. Call Pete at Pete's Cycle & Sled & I'm sure he'll take care of you as he did me. 508 786 0888

Anyone know off hand if you have to use the Scalvini silencer with their pipe?

Was wondering the same thing? Would love to get a new silencer but not complete pipe.
