I happened to be in the right spot at the right time and captured his get off. It was a good one! I hope he’s ok. He did remount and ride off but I think he hurt his right leg. Had trouble kick starting it and so did the team member. They bumpbstarted it to get it fired up.

Wow, that a was a big get-off. Joey can't buy a break right now. Hope he's OK.

Thanks! I just got to the spot and he was the first rider I was going to snap a few pics of. I heard the panic rev and smashed the shutter lol A lap or two earlier, another rider went over the bars on the same jump. I think there was a kicker in the face of the jump.

Yes, I was standing there as well. Bailey’s crash was nasty, pretty sure I saw the front wheel get him under the helmet when he went down.

Was this the downhill double that got Stewart during his battle with RC?

I was at the base of the jump that year and hands down it was the gnarliest/nastiest crash I’ve seen in 25 years of moto....

I plan on it. I have the time off from work so it shouldn’t be an issue. Cell service sucks here at coopers rock. At least with Verizon (xfinity mobile). Been trying to get on since I got back from the track and finally picked up 1 bar of service

That jump is long gone, but it was a disgusting crash, no doubt.

Must be a Honda with green plastic. Clearly the linkage dug into the ground on the face causing that.
