Does anyone know what happened to Savatgy's bike? Such a bummer, he was running up front.

I’d like to know what happened as well. Savatgy has the skills to run toward the front. I’m looking forward to a complete race from him. Hope he stays healthy!

According to both Jeff and Ralph their bikes were smoking in the heat races. You'll notice Eli slowed down a good bit too at times in the main. I was wondering if he was nursing the bike home.

For a second I was having flashbacks to monster cup. Just glad the bike quit where it did and not on the face of a triple or something.

I forget what outdoor race it was when James Stewarts KXF450 locked up going off the face of a downhill jump.
My stomach dropped watching that! Anyone have a video of that?
I know our stock bikes are nowhere near what the pros bikes are, but I didn't buy a Kawi for years after watching that get off.
I did break down and buy the new 19 KX450 and really like it.

It was an electrical issue.

I'm not sure if it's the same race you're thinking about but I think I remember Stewart going down in a heap at High Point on that step down they used to have just past the finish line (when the finish line used to be on Bradshaw Blvd) as the track made its way around and behind the starting gate before that uphill triple to the left of the starting gate.

A genuin question. Combine the two classes, Kawasaki has to be the most unreliable bike the last couple of years? More issues with PC 250 and the factory 450 compared to the other factory teams out there? Honda had problems with their 2018 250 bikes too, but the 450 has been solid.

He rides very well with the 450, he just needs to make some good results and he will be on a good way, I think he will become Supercross champion in the next years.

In 2013 I was racing my '95 CR250 in a vintage motocross and leading. I felt amazing that day, just on it. Everything working right. 3rd gear hard on the gas and as I went off the lip of the biggest double on the track the bike seized. Crank locked on me. Front end dropped like a rock. Thats one of the scariest things Ive ever felt for sure.

I was on my 1984 KX 80 and was being chased by the Sheriff and my bike seized. Cop threw me over the hood of his car and took me to jail. Handcuffed in the back of his cop car in Valencia in Aug so it was 105 degrees out and he wouldn’t take my helmet or goggles off. Ticket cost me $1150 and another $300 to get it out of impound. Never owned another Kawasaki after that. Lol

Saw that happen to Tommy Clowers at Barona Oaks when I was a kid. A perfect sounding CR80 comes ripping up to the big double in the back, and CLANK! right as he left the lip. I can't remember if he was unconscious or not, but I do remember the bike flipping a half dozen times down the track.
