Due to some changes in my life I will be living in the area in about 90 days. What does the San Diego area offer for tracks or off-road. Thanks

Pala and Barona Oaks will be your closest Moto tracks. Pala has definitely reopened since this whole virus BS, I haven't heard anything on Barona. For off-road Ocotillo Wells is probably 2 hours and Glamis I would say is roughly 2 and a half hours away. Then for other tracks you have Cahuilla Creek, Perris and Lake Elsinore which just opened back up and is probably an hour and a half from SD depending on which part you'll be in. Good luck with the move!

Welcome to the Peoples Republic of Kaleefornia, where MX is frowned on.

Of course there is lots of moto but also lots of off road close to town. Besides the huge country just south of us that has more off road riding than you would ever be able to ride, there is McCain Valley, Coral Canyon, lots and lots of riding in Big Bear and San Bernardino etc etc. Never a day that you can’t ride.

Sounds like MX-off road heaven. More excited now than ever for the move. I have never been able to ride Nov thru March. I have always wanted to ride Glen Helen too and that's even closer than the track I ride here.

Thanks for the replies

November through March is Desert season around here, Ocotillo Wells is close, Glamis isn’t a whole lot further if you like sand. Superstition is’t that far. If you get a dual sport you can ride all kinds of street legal jeep roads and trails.
