is there actually a possibility that the race gets canceled? I can't remember that a race got canceled because of rain in recent years.

Feld having a shitshow day. Could have had a relatively dry practice, uncovered the tarps and got a quagmire now, and now they are ripping off the paying customers as usual.

I actually don't feel I got ripped off. Still watched my RDL and enjoyed it, just like I'll enjoy the mud race to come.NBC and the people who run the race are two entirely different entities. NBC has their three hours allotted to RDL and have to stick to it. Maybe the AMA held off on practice until the rain started as a way to actually try to preserve the track some for tonight? They packed the track extra tight to prevent water intrusion pre race. Possibly they figured if they held practice before the rains came and it loosened up a bunch, the track would actually end up worse for the night program once the rains did finally arrive. Just a theory, but it's not without all logic either. Beyond that, my post is more making fun of people who participate in an extremely expensive hobby complaining about a snafu created by an extremely rare weather event and how they've been ripped off. It really is laughable.
