Thank you for your help. I am excited to try something new. In your opinion what track would be the best to visit? I looked at all their Facebook pages however the info and pictures do not give much detail about layout of any of these tracks. Thanks again for your help.

I used to like Jordan River. It can really depend on who they hired to maintain it, but it was great when I was riding a few years ago. I see friends posting about it, still looks fun. Unless they raised the price, It's only $15 and has 3 or 4 tracks. Oca is a fun track too, but I think you have to go with someone who has a membership. I've only ridden it on race days. It's about 40 minutes from SLC. Tooele has a track too, about 40 minutes out of SLC.

I wouldn't mind a 40 or so min drive. I am coming from Colorado so another 40 mins isnt going to kill me. I will look up the track in Tooele. Thanks.

OCA in Ogden is having an Open Public Practice Day on Sunday the day after the SLC SX.

Jordan River can be good, but it's a little hit and miss because you never know what tracks they are going to have open.
But overall it's a good time.

I would pass on Tooele personally.

I saw that Jordan River is open on Sun the 29th. Has anyone been recently? I have heard some mixed reviews on the facility.
