Did anybody else ride here? I was only 5 or 6 but I remember riding my polini there. Other then that I don’t remember anything about it. When did it shut down? Any parts of it still visible? I drive the 241 a lot and always try to find something ha have only ever been able to find the one pic of Lusk and stew there

Yes, James jumped over my head on his 125 the day after thanksgiving 2001. Loved that track. Shut down at the end of 2001 I believe.

They flooded the basin where the track was with the lake shortly after…

Cool picture!
The back section got sketchy when the sun went down. Came around the corner to couple handfuls of riders rolling around on the ground. 405 pile up
Then there was the pits 🤪Holy crap some shit would show up. Monster trucks with cranes to load the bikes, roid heads, big fake tits, full circus.

Rode there a bunch. 15mins from home. They had lighting for night practice and lots of peeps showed up. Very cool. It was pretty much a ride and then hang out and party atmosphere. Good times, although short lived. And more pros showed up than I would have expected, made it that much better 👌

Took my kid there a few times, he was on 80’s. I wasn’t riding at the time. He seemed to like it, I remember parking being kind of tiered into the side of the hill… There was talk of a couple other Saddleback parks from the same owners, but never materialized.

Didn’t they close in 02? I remember riding my YZ85 there. It was a fun track!

My favorite track ever. They would plow the whole track in the mornings. Used to cut school and go riding for the day. Loved the road jump too!

It had to be late 03 possibly early 04 when it closed....I would ride there 2-3 times a week and got so fast from riding there.
Not a lot of pics out there of this place....night riding was a blast there and yes I do remember it being a "scene" in the pits lol

Great memories of Saddleback Park in those photos - The park had lots of room to just ride your bike for miles 7 days a week!

I rode Saddleback II a fraction of the times I rode the original Saddleback track, Saddleback II @ Irvine Lake was pretty fun and close. Wish it was still there. Met a lot of fun people there
