Any one know how big a supercross triple is? I've heard they are about 65 feet but is that for the big ones or the normal size ones in a rhythm section or am I just dumb and they are the same size.

If you jump through the whoops and clear three at a time, does that count as a triple? Or have two table tops and you jump from the first one onto of the second one, triple?
Chuck Norris is the reason why Waldo is hiding.
Thats not what I meant. I stated a normal rhythm section which you can double or triple. I want to know the distance if you were to triple it.
I've heard 65, 75 & 85ft before sooo.....
2011 Yamaha YZ 250 -MX
1996 Yamaha Banshee 350 -Trails
1982 Chevy S10
2005 Pontiac GTO -451rwhp
They need to be 100' now that the 450s have so much grunt! Maybe the 250s couldn't make it also. To me having the 250s not do something the 450s do is better not worse!
I dont think thats a good idea.. if you crash your gonna end up like Roczen but a lot worse. And keep in mind he crashed on a smaller jump. Just because bikes can handle doesnt mean they should have gigantic jumps.
I thought 70-75. I think rhythm section jumps are 25-30 peak to peak. If you can catch barrington tomorrow morning he has all the info dialed in.
Edited Date/Time:
There were SX track maps awhile back that were posted that had layout type dimensions on them. Pretty cool.
Would be actually be cool if someone gives details of angle/lenght/caps of jumps. Some triples are not that big but with so little run before hitting jump after corner that normal rider would fail.
Takeoff to the peak of the landing 65ft...from the takeoff to the bottom of the landing 75ft.
Wide Open until you see God then BRAKE!
The terminology is obsolete. How many feet you jump is the question, not what is underneath it that you never touch.
