Points for the tripple crown need to be adjusted.

3 main event 1 x Points doesn't make sense. If you go 3 x 1 this has to be rewarded!
Technically you can go 1,1,10 an still being 2nd and the one who goes 1,1,1, gets only 3 points more.
In a normal race that would be 21!

No reward for the winner only less damage for the 2nd and below!

Just my 5 cents

That's the reason i don't like the triple crown!
Racing is good results sucks!

Bye the way, Saturday night's race was 3 X 12 min + 1 lap that provided over 40 minutes of racing (450 "Mains")

Some 2 x 15'+1 lap that pays double points could also be very good indeed !

Yeppers ride my couch! Actually just sold the one in the picture. Have not got to ride anything much in the last 4 years, except the SxS super couch with cage. lol

Triple crowns are cool but for me Id personally like to see a couple races a year WITHOUT 80 foot huck it triples and meatgrinder whoops sections. Whats wrong with racing a course with moderate jumps and very technical off camber turns, Chicanes, Flat corners.... etc? Kind of like the old Supercross when beer and smokes were still involved.

Id rather see passing and not dodging each other in the air around the whole 60 second lap time. Dont get me wrong I love me some whippertails and showtime.....but most of the whole damn lap nowadays is spent in the air trying not to die.

All the FMX'ers are gonna down vote this one but Im tired of dudes getting peeled every race because the tracks are just unsafe. There is a big difference between "Technical" and "Large" and I feel todays fans just want Large.

I like that triple crowns make the entire night matter. We all know the main guys are going into the main from the heats. So those heat races are spoiled unless a freak accident happens.

Look at the outdoor series. The entire afternoon program matters. The entire hour youre on the track matters. Not just 25 mins of it.

Both have advantages and disadvantages. It's definitely exciting for the fans to see 3 starts and those crazy first few laps. Kinda anticlimactic when a rider comes across the finish line for 3rd and is the winner.

What are your thoughts...

Why not the same format as outdoors? 2 x20 for 450, 2 x 15 for 250?

Why does it have to be an either/or?

I like it the way it is.

Only thing I’d like to explore is if there are three starts, three chequered flags, why not three lots of points rather than one overall result for points??

If it went to 3 motos, make the motos 15 minutes each. Otherwise, leave it alone with the triple crown a few times a year. Main events as they stand should be longer...25 or 30 minutes. Meaning in the 450 class.

remember only 22 guys get to be in the night show. Its bad for non team riders. Ar least they get a heat and an lcq. But to show up and pray to be the 22nd fastest in the world is a waste of time. A whole series would kill the privateer.
