Stewart + Reed

Maybe some strategy to why Reed didn't pick it up in practice 2 like everyone else?

Practice means nothing. Everyones times improve in the heats and then again in the Mains.

Yeah but it's kind of weird that everyone went faster in session 2 than they did in session 1 except Chad.

He already has a faster laptime than everyone aside from Stewart which means he will get 1st gate pick in his heat. Why push it?

But now he gets second gate pick in Stewarts heat.

What's your point exactly? Wether Reed got first gate pic in his heat or 2nd gate pic in a heat with Stewart, he would still wind up with the 2nd or 3rd gate pic in the main. He isn't going to beat Stewart in a heat race. So, even if Reed won his heat race with Stewart in the other heat race, he is still getting second gate pic in the main.

My point is that you said he was 2nd fastest and I just corrected you.

Whatever the reason is, I don't think that Chad wanted to be in the same heat as James.

Something is wrong with Reed. If he had game, he'd have shown it. Hell, Lawrence went almost as fast.

He will still get second tonight as long as the rider who hasn't been racing decides he feels like taking it to him.

If he is 4th fastest overall he won't be in the same heat as Stewart anyway?

I hope CR picks it up tonight. Although I favor JS, I'd like to see some racing for the #1.

Reed is not the 4th fastest from the times i see. JS then Milsaps then Reed. Only three below 50 secs. 48.8, 494, 49.8 respectively. Someone have other numbers????

How are the heats decided?
What is the numbering system to who goes where? Is it like 1,3,5,7.etc and 2,4,6,8, etc?
