Hey Guys,
I am not sure if somebody already ask about this before.
We just bought a Mercedez Benz Sprinter Van and we want to make a nice setup to a motocross van.
Do you guys have any tips or photo to help us?
We bought a long chassi with lower roof...
Thanks!

I'm not sure most tracks would let you drive a van on the track, maybe soften the suspension a bit and swap out the tires for some dunlop 952s, JK

Those vans are super trick. Not sure I would have gone with the lower roof though. Can you stand up in it?

A diesel is most definitely a 4 stroke..... Count the strokes, same as any gas burning 4 stroke engine. The only difference is that compression and heat cause the ignition rather than a spark plug.

True. Don't see too many of them at the mx track though, haha. We had a crane back where I used to work that was a 2-stroke detroit.

The van in the pictures is the VW equivalent of the Sprinter. Pretty much identical apart fron the meaner 'nose'.
Hope it inspires you. When I saw this in the flesh at the bike show it really impressed me.

Doubting thomas, I had my doubts too, but apparently the rear section raises up.

I had a British couple come by our dealership in Calgary a few years back with one of these with 2 1200 GS's on the back of it,( they needed to get some warranty work done to one of the Beemers). The couple had been around the world in it. I was lucky to get a tour of the beast and it was everything that the photo's show. A really sweet ride......It would cost as much as a small house in the U.S I'm thinking.

Have a look at this ebay link. This is pretty much what is used here in the UK for mx, for your average racer. I know it's a VW van, but much the same size shape as sprinter. There are lots of different ways to do it but gives you an idea.

nah, screw that. I have a 02 E-350 with a V-10. I can pass anything but a gas station on the way to the races. Blush

I wanted a Sprinter but cheaped out and got a Ford Box Van with a 7.3. I do love my box van..had to be out of commision recently getting new injectors installed and went racing without it. Next time I 'll wait till its ready. It was a long weekend without it.
