Jason Hooper pulled this together for Kailub Russell and FMF KTM after he raced the last two rounds of the AMA Grand National Cross Country Series on a KTM 150, then raffled the bike off to help his injured friend Rory Mead and to also finance his trip to the ISDE, where he finished third overall for Team USA...

Very proud of this kid -- he's my nephew.

No wonder he won. He clearly cuts/leaves the track at the 50 sec mark and doesn't come back on the track til the end of the race Smile . Awesome bike and talent, really rips.

That video took me back 30 years to riding hare scrambles at the Zink ranch and blackjack enduros. Thanks.

Don't nobody wanna hear no steeenkin' two stroke!
Okay, okay, I lie. A 150 two stroke would work really well with the 250F's.

Russell was a monster on that 150! Cool vid for sure... Imagine what he would've done on a 300!

Love the grunty sound of that 150. Man, going through those trees at that speed. One slight miscalculation and its lights out... good riding.. loved the vid and then watched a couple of other Kailub Russell YouTube vids.. funny dude...

Sorry on phone and don't know how to embed. Here's his gopro, watch as he slips by that Yamaha feller from aussie land that is going to contend for the title next year apparently at 1:57..

Side note, that thing sounds like it was really hard to get to hook up on slick places, no real mid, he's pretty much on or off the gas whole time.
