How cool would it be if they built a huge bowl turn over one end of the stadium seats and another up and down of some kind over the other end? Rice-Eccles is too small as it is but with no spectators they could mix it up. How about going in and out on the south end to more track just outside? EDIT: looks like that was already in the plans. Since supercross is the only live sport on TV they should go all out for these races. Looking forward to the different track designs.

As long as they incorporate the Vegas style out of the stadium section I see it being a decent track. This will give Dirt works lots of options for track design with no fans and time to show us how creative they can get to switch the track up between races. People keep saying how small Rice Eccles is, it's a football stadium, it's got to be larger than San Diego's Petco Park you'd think anyway. I'm excited that the series is resuming and we get to see the battle come down to the wire for the Championship. Gotta think, the top few guys are coming up with a game plan to seal the deal with how tight the schedule will be.

They were about to begin filling in the seating on the south end of the stadium this summer to add over 5000 seats:

Not sure where they are in the remodel but hopefully it allows them to get creative.

I drove by a few days before they announced that the series will resume in SLC, I didn't see anything out of the norm or any construction crews. Being that this track map was for this year, I'd say they've held off construction.

Next week will be busy up there.

Drove by and the dirt is outside the stadium. Excited to see how they mix it up. Hope they make some turns up in the stands.

I'm thinking the first 2 rounds they won't go outside the stadium but I'd bet money on them doing it maybe rd 3 or 4. That would be pretty awesome.
