I just tried adjusting my pressures in my air fork on my 2015 CRF250R and oil sprayed out of the balance chamber valve when I opened it. Im pretty sure the fork will work fine after losing maybe 1-1.5 oz of oil but Id rather get some more opinions on this.

anyone else have this happen to them or heard of it happening?

I have seen some problems with those forks when the o rings inside go bad. I wonder if you have an oring that needs to be replaced

when I put the hand pump on the schrader valve it read over 200psi, I thought it was reading wrong so I unscrewed the pump from the valve to make sure I hadn't messed with anything. When I did this a small amount of oil came out from the valve, I took a small flat head screwdriver and pressed the valve core to open the valve and oil shot out.

I had the forks taken apart and serviced at a shop about a year ago, do they wear out that fast?

I saw that once with a set of '15 TAC forks and the coating on the inside of the air cartridge stripped off and all the debris had gotten into the seals.

I also heard the same from a reputable source, the machining on the inner surface of the air cartridge wasn't correct.... you can imagine the 100mL of oil on the top air chamber migrating down to the lower chamber.

Yes. Ours pushes oil out when removing the pump from the balance chamber after the oil starts to break down. We typically service the fork between 35 and 40 hours. Our suspension guy says it is nothing to be concerned about.

When they serviced the forks they probably only changed the fork slider seals, oil and bushings. What you need is the inner air chamber seals. You can actually probably just buy the whole inner air chamber from someone who already replaced it with springs.

Since those seals are leaking your options are -replace the seals -replace the inner air chamber, KYB SSS conversion lol.
