Too bad he wasn't this motivated when he had his factory ride, too many riders get serious AFTER their career is all but over. Sad

I don't know the guy but I never really had the impression that he didn't work hard. It never seemed to be a lack of fitness that affected his racing results.

Looks like a good way to let out pent up aggression also.

Didn't realise Ryno had turned into a new-age vegan hippie before I checked his instagram. Not exactly surprised though, he was always a little crazy.

He's definitely different, but that's okay. I've actually gained a lot of respect for him. Wish I could be as regimented as he is.

What I think is super cool is people doing exactly what they want in life....... but not feeling the need to show the world, just doing it because they want to.

Most people don’t know he broke his back about 10 years ago, and he has to work out a lot just so he can be normal. His back xrays are unreal.

I hereby pronounce this the greatest thread title in the history of Motodrive/Vital MX

You spend enough time around this sport you realize it's actually pretty weird. But in the best way you can imagine. Woohoo

What? Not disagreeing with what you’re sayin but that sure as shit didn’t apply to Ryno. If anything he could have backed it down a bit and been smarter.

Is that the one where he complains the whole segment about how no one can win on a 125 and then the next segment is stew dominating on a 125?
Not trying to be a dick I just get my TGOs mixed up.
The same one when Ricky grabs a perfect season?

I can think of a few words to describe Ryno. "Undriven" is not one of them.

Have you ever raced a pro national with a broken leg and roll of duct tape? Imo, that is motivated.

One of my younger cycling buddies just got back from a MX camp Ryno was at. He had nothing but good things to say about the guy.

Like him or hate he if we all had as much drive as him AT HIS AGE there would be a lot more guys having fun instead of sitting on couch OR behind keyboards.

Look at the injuries he has had and how he has come back from them, dude is an animal!!! Loved the WhiskeyThrottle that he did, just a pity it never went on for longer. Yes he comes out with some weird stuff - how many of us talk crap at times - I know I do.

I do agree with him on knee braces due to current injury I’ve got and have tried different ones and can feel a massive difference between supportive and immobilising type. Neck braces - do t think we should go there even though I’ve never worn, neither have kids or grandson.

To this day still occasionally watch his mxskills dvd as he does know what he’s talking about.
