I think it was a great debut. New bike, two weeks of testing and finishing 2nd the first time in a race is a very good start.

The guy seems really excited. You can accomplish a lot when you're energized like that...

a real racer goes to the track and races .

# 5 KTM now knows the gap they have to fill.

those that sat and watched on TV have an even bigger gap to fill by A1.

In my opinion excitement and trying to gain a mental advantage are the reasons he chose the ride he did. The money didn't hurt either I imagine. I'm happy to see him looking satisfied with his choice so far and hope for big things again in 2012!

Is that how Roger and the suspension engineer analyze how it is working for Dungey? I would never have guessed that.

Btw thank you Nerd and good job for getting these RD interviews. Apparently he is picky about who gets to interview him.

When you watch Dungey race, you wonder what is going through his head. I don't think the bike will hold him back at all, but his level of aggression will.

Lets see motogeezer have you ever been in a supercross final. I have and have over 20 years as a pro racer. I think I can see a little more than you.

My guess would be the different way the two bikes in question seemed to handle the obstacles on the track. But I never made a Supercross main and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

I can imagine that would be true. A lot of risks and a lot of potential gain. I suspect they are OK with the outcome...
