Seems there is quite the common theme around here that no one ever appears to be satisfied.

I don't mind Rut all that much to be honest.

But if they keep cutting away from the racing DURING LIVE RACING, to show replays from last year to pimp drama (like Cooper Webb from last year), I'm going to start a fire Bondo thread each and every week. Split screen or show it during dead air time. Just keep live racing on live racing.

Lastly, anyone really believe Howie and Tony really wear sketchers?

You know, I saw all the talk about this guy in the night show thread and held my tongue. Because yeah, they obviously brought him in to dumb shit down for newbies to the sport, I get it. I really only care about the races themselves, I usually dont give a fuck what they choose to air in-between.

But when you're taking up valuable real estate with the split screen mid-race to show this guy, excited that he got the chance to hold up a pit board... come on NBC, let's ease up on how much airtime this dude gets. That's ridiculous.

I have seen him in the rare occasion I turn on a NASCAR race. It seems the motorsports broadcasts nowadays feel they need to make it a comedy show to keep viewers attention. I saw Jeff Gordon and Clint Bower acting like a couple of fools on the NASCAR Daytona pre race. Ever see Michael Waltrup acting like a clown on these shows? The people in charge of these broadcasts seem to feel we have to be entertained by some fool. You don’t see this BS on MotoGP broadcasts.
