He has already stated that with his limited NASCAR schedule this year he is looking fwd to spending more time having fun on the bike, but has no plans on racing.

I doubt it, he's been out to long. With the expectations he has of himself I doubt he would expose himself to damaging his legacy.

I think it would've been a good idea if he came back around two years ago...I think it would be pushing it now, though.

I would just love to see him out there again, regardless of results. If anyone could do it, it's the GOAT.

Yea the one that the Speed cameras missed!! Thankfully a fan got it.

and btw, i am about the biggest RC fan on the planet, but hearing these "he is gonna make a comeback" stories every time a vid gets posted of him on a bike, or hell even just a pic, sure is getting old and tiresome. Lets just let the dude enjoy life! he sacrificed so much for 20+ years and won EVERYTHING a rider could ever win.

I'd love to go to a race and get to see him racing again. I just think he has been on the bench too long to break the top 10.....but then again, that man has always found a way to defy the odds so anything would be possible if he was all in.... That "Return of the King" racerX cover/poster will forever be my favorite.

He said in an interview with TWMX after he retired that he lost his speed but honestly I think if he trained for 2-3 months he would be up there battling for top 3s ..which is still SUPER impressive.

Short said that MC still throws it down fast at the SX track..and MC is 40!!!

tv announcing, has his school, his race, spends the week at the other race (the one with the stupid age classifications that soaks everyone for every penny), rent's his private track and equipment out to a top rider, has a relationship/development contract with suzuki, helped fox design their first hinged boot to move in to the over $500 market place, signs a few autographs and occassionaly makes a riding video.

and he also twitters like a little school girl and calls it "marketing"

I agree. To go from a living human moto god to a 2nd or 3rd tier guy in that sport....not very appealing, but it's his life. Good thing money is not an issue for him. My only regret with him is that I would have liked to see him together with Stewart and Villopoto at the MXdN, which never happened because of his injury in 2006 and Stewart's injury in 2007. That team would have to be considered at or near the very top of all-time MXdN teams.

Also in Racerhead and in a SXoline vid and many other places, but people here still ramble on every time they see a pic or a vid of him on a bike having fun. "Oh he is riding, he must be training for that comeback!!!" Dizzy

If he does come back at all, it would just be a one off race like the Monster Energy Cup. That being said, the odds he races again are slim and none.
