It sounds like Josh Hansen quit over at Rockstar Hart & Huntington. Will they replace him with another rider? That remains to be seen.

And for stage two here, don't look for any new/additional riders under the J-Law Racing / Boost Mobile / ampm / Monster Energy / Troy Racing tent soon. They're busy with J-Law's intro to the fo-fiddy class, and working to get Nick Wey higher up in the results each weekend.

I heard Carey Hart and Pink have reconciled as well.

The local radio station was talking about it this morning.

Did Alan Woods attend any pit bike races here in the States a few years back?

Josh is taking the year off to try to figure out what he wants in life. He's burnt out and not enjoying himself. Ask anyone - if you're not enjoying what you're doing, you won't be successful.

Too bad, but hopefully this opens up an opportunity for someone to step in and make things happen.

I'm sure he'll land a spot on a high Caliber Team as he is one of the sports elite.

I always liked Hansen. I wish he could get it (whatever that may be) together and put up the kind of results that reflect the talent he has. I wonder how much of his problems the last few years are related to the back problems he's had.

I liked him also. Watched him come out for the first practice at A2 and hit stuff right away that took others quit awhile to figure out. Hope he figures things out and gets happy. He is in a tough time in the life situation, age wise and thought wise. My son is around his age and trying to figure things out himself. Good Luck Hany !!!!

I'm a Hanny fan, yet it is what it is.
For yrs. we've all seen it.
Hopefully, well.................?
Maybe he's better off.
I'd hate to see him out there, not
really into it all, & as a result of that
hurt himself or someone else.
You can lead a horse to water, yet making
him drink is another story & frankly the hardest part.
Heck, whether a factory guy or PC team member
you put your best out there for them.
Bikes, crew, atmosphere, everything one would need,
yet at times for some the bread never rises. It stays flat!
Yet going into it all, all the signs for a full loaf were there,
go figure!
I hope he's happy & at peace with it all.
It's a limited playing field out there, this I know!

Just an FYI...the rumor of Boni switching teams sounds like it may not be happening.

And with that, I think I'll climb up out of the rumor gutter for a while. Smile

How about the fact ...he has been riding/racing since he was knee high. Smile
Some love it and keep going/progressing...others get "burnt out".
Josh is a good dude and a great rider.
I hope he finds his groove again.

That's true. They've got a hunting trip with RV scheduled after the SX season.

You have to race more than a handful of races a season to get burnt out.....when's the last time Hansen has raced a full series....2004?

Rock - or anyone for that matter - how can YOU say whether someone is burnt out or not? I think the factors go beyond whether or not he has raced a full season, or not finished one since '04.

I'm not sticking up for him, but it's not for us to say one way or the other whether is is "allowed" to be burnt out. All I know is that he just doesn't want to be on the bike right now.
