Old Dunkerque. 5 miles of bumps and waves everywhere. Never fresh and no delimitation. It was savage back in the day. I remember make a small turns track far away of the main track. I was riding and a guy with a YZ 250 showed up. It was Fred Bolley. He gived to me some tips. We've rided for one hour on that small track together. For a 14 years old kid, it was a cool moment.

I think Chad Reed said in maybe Whiskey Throttle show? that Loon Plage was the roughest track he ever rode when he was there in 2001. His first time there he had local guys with no visors blowing by him lol

I just went there once and honestly it takes so much skills to have a decent flow!

it’s sad that Fred Bolley doesn’t have much recognition from after his two 250 world titles. He was pretty good.
