Oh $hit! Not sure if "endurance motocross" means an enduro or not but Yamaha can't be pleased with this at all.

Yeah that is not a good thing. He had a good season going and was in the hunt for the championship. He will be back but probably not this season.....

Hope he's okay.

He already had a crash on a motocross bike earlier this year that resulted in some diminished results, he said he was probably done riding motocross for awhile.

Go Vale!

Enduro, not Motocross;
Valentino Rossi has suffered a fall while practicing enduro and the first medical examinations point to a possible fracture of tibia and fibula. The rider of Movistar Yamaha MotoGP has been transferred to the Hospital of Urbino.

The 38-year-old was training in the town of Parchiule, near Urbino, about 30 kilometers from Tavullia. According to information provided by La Gazzetta dello Sport, # 46 was rolling down a road when his right leg was caught by a stone, causing him to injure himself. Both his madrte Stefania and his stepbrother Luca Marini have accompanied him to the Hospital of Urbino, where he is undergoing various tests.
