Same as here. NorCalRedRyder....seems like a lifetime ago. I know Jnickell will be checking here soon. I've seen a bunch of familiar names from Roronmx here.

I have no idea what my username there was, i just remember reading through a topic on there that had an insane amount of pages and was seemingly about totally random stuff lol.

I used to do a lot of stuff on hockey and hockey gaming forums so I may have been under the username Hrudey32 (after Kelly Hrudey of the LA Kings). But again, not really sure.

For anyone who hated me back on the ronronmx days, blame Dustin for letting me post on his forum account when I was 12.

Waiting in line at a buffet somewhere judging by the looks of him the last time I saw him.

Joined in 2004 and stayed for many years. Remember bits and pieces - some of the names Mr Bigglesworth (later WRC I think it was, after everyone's profiles got wiped) Rhino, Chubbs, Spydee, a bit later Obrien and some of the other names (posted above ring a bell), rivalries and general craziness etc. Fond memories overall. ktm525 was my handle. On the off chance anyone remembers me; yes I did write some unbelievably stupid and cringey things, back then especially...

At the end of the ronronmx days I hosted the Fantasy SX series over there. I got jerseys from Seely, Travis Baker, and Craig in 2011, and gave them out to the top 3.

I posted there. I won’t say my username as I’m happy to leave my stupidity in the past. So happy there is now no record of any of the crap I posted on there starting at the ripe age of 12.

|

4/22/2018 4:07 PM

I joined in '04 but only posted a few times.

Posted there with a different username from 2002 to 2007-ish when they made the transfer to a new board system that lost all of the old topics and posts.

I remember most a guy jcamp13 that pretended to be a guy that won the 125 Stock C class at Lorretta's, he came back years later as "motosquid" pretending to be Donny McGourty and eventually got busted for those fake claims too. The MxEthix guy that died from jumping his driveway when his dad drove in mid-jump. Rhino's political ranting.

The system would always censor the word Dick ---> Dong. ex. Vice President Dong Cheney

So many dumb James / Reed / Windham vs. Ricky threads

Most of the rest was forgettable.

What happened to KTM Nealio from way back? He went MIA around 03 or so, but the dude was hilarious. So much so that 15 years later I still remember his screen name.

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

This is Stephane Roncada giving #259 all he could handle in 2004:

He had a back injury that lead to a pain pill addiction that nearly took his life by the end of that year. 14 years later he's alive and world-class at another hobby that he turned into another career and would smile and say hi if you saw him in a buffet line.

Hey Norcal! I see you still have that photo I took of you at Club Moto back in, ummmm, 2004? How have you been? I too recognize a lot of names. BCue was always on there and his buddy was Razzdazzbrazz, or something like that. The other prominent name that was on there a lot was Michael Akaydin. Both of those guys seem like good people and I'm glad they are involved in the industry as I'm sure they hoped to be. I also remember KTMNealio very well.

I actually spoke to MX Ethix on the phone a few times before he moved back home from Phoenix. Good dude. I feel horrible for his dad.

I wonder where Case is. ...and many more that I can't think of of the top of my head.

What's up Spydee, how's your buddy Chubbs? I also remember you Tobz and RobMX522. Rob, didn't you have an RM250 back then? Not a 4 stroke..

I was just being a smartass, watching him and Bubba going at it are up there with the most exciting races I've ever seen.
