Wonder if this will get shut down like his idea to raise money for puerto rico.
Jimmy is a good dude. Glad hes doing this. Haters kill stuff like this. Drives me nuts.

This seems a lot more reasonable than the Puerto Rico deal. That was never gonna fly in the first place.

Exactly what I was thinking. Surely the AMA, The Legends and Heroes Tour, or some other notable agency will swoop in at the last moment with an astronomical bid to ensure this key piece of moto history is properly ensconced in a suitable museum.
Powerband in every gear !
"Our favorite meat head", lol. Gotta love what Ronnie's doing, and good on him.
There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear.

I would think since R2R is auctioning it off on ebay that it would be tax deductible ?
That could be a little incentive for potential buyers.

Only sitting at $4k.
Ronnie just went up quite a few notches on my respect meter. Good for you Ronnie!
And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I think you missed the point. It's to help a severely injured rider that has excessive medical Bill's & a chance to get something you wouldn't otherwise be able to buy normally... maybe I'm just crazy but things always sell for exponentially more than they're worth when it's for charity & something you can't hop online & buy on the regular. It's not a vitard posting his bike for sale. Get it now?
Will be worth more than that in a bunch of years. And who cares if the engine is blown. Imagine that hanging from your shed rafters or above your bar if you have the dollars. Or being able to wheel it out for displays at selected races. I'm sure that alone would get you a pit pass with all access. People waste a lot more money on shit to gather dust and this goes to a good cause.
Seems like an easy decision to make (and a good one) that bike is blown, he said "one of my" meaning he already had another one, and it's not worth $500 on the private market but put Ronnie name on it and for a good cause and get $4,500. Why not? Seems like an easy win win.

Maybe one of his screamer's that "stopped screaming" wasn't a motorcycle...
