Ronnie is a commie dick head if he races for Puerto Rico!
Where are people getting this rumor from? I’ve only seen it being alluded to here on Vital, but haven’t seen anything else about it.
I know a lot of people were saying it was all in good fun at Straight Rhythm because it’s just a yearly exhibition race for fun, and I get that, but what do you say if he takes it to the world stage?
Edited Date/Time:
I would be surprised if his bike and gear would pass the FIM inspection.
Pretty sure Ronnie won't be able to line up behind the gate in his usual gear / bike combo.

Apparently there is an involvement from Ricky Johnson to make that happen in a team that should include Pastrana and Windham along with Albertson.

Looks like they pulled everything? Weird. It was only up for maybe 10min. I have notifications set for RonTube, which I watched right when it was posted. They had a 4min video uploaded on Ron's channel explaining what they were doing that interviewed the team - Ryan Sipes, Travis Pastrana and Ronnie Mac about racing for PR. Rick Johnson is the coach. Also about how they are all over 30 and doing it on 2 strokes.
Their main goal is to raise money for Puerto Rico, which is cool. Their website (https://ronsontop.com) had merch available for sale.
They were also trying to make it clear that it is 100% for real.
Go Team Puerto Rico!
*edit* video and website seem to be restored.

Ridiculous if they let him race it

If he goes as Jimmy that's fine but as Ronnie Mac well that'll be pretty lame.
Even then it's kinda, eh.
If we're actually going to send two teams (which itself feels super lame) it should be our best 6 guys... not our best three and an American side show.

I'm not a fan of the US sending two teams. I'd much rather see a real Team Puerto Rico with riders from the actual island but that's just me.

gear for sure would be out,
but not sure about the bike, the FIM does not have a homologation rule like the AMA does . (manufacturers homologate bikes for 3 years from memory) , so cant see how they would not allow it,

Same.
Bring your best three people and see how you stack up... bringing six is lame as fuck.

You know they did the same thing last year right?

That's why I said the same shit last year.
I’m not sure if you’re aware, but Puerto Rico isn’t really in a place to be spending on such extraneous activities. I think it’s cool what these guys are doing.

Do you remember who was on team puerto rico last year? Ya me neither
I love it, inject some fun into It! The FIM has no sense of humour....Ronnie won't get away with his gear of any cut down guards on his bike....but then Hey! They handed over the GP' s to Luongo to use as his own personal money tree...hes probably greasing the palms of FIM officialdom to keep the deal going, so they'll probably be open to offers from Ronnie to let him do his thing...cash...girls...beer...seems like he already did that when he came down here for AusX....

Georgia split the sheets with that lame ass shit. Ronnie Mac = douchy dirt bag. Jimmy Albertson = hard working every man.

I don't necessarily agree with the whole thing but at least they don't have to spend 30+ grand to send them overseas since it's in the US.
If they had to ship everything over, a lot more people would have a problem with it.
Now will Pastrana and Mac be allowed to race older model two strokes?
