Just a damned shame with as big as the US is that we have such slim pickings to send to the race. Looking at the map, we should be able to have dozens of racers capable of running up front.

Imo monster cup should be after the sx season before outdoors start or better yet, make it the last round of sx So scheduling like this isnt a factor.

And lets be real, mxon is USA vs the world. Sales go down without the states. Without the states, mxon is just another round of mxgp. Decoster has leverage because of that, and who he is in the industry.

What's funny is that YS proposed the very same exact idea a few years back and put the MXoN in the provisional calendar before the end of the MXGP season and guess what? All the MXGP teams said: ok you wanna do that, we won't be there then. And Roger should be aware of that as his bosses at KTM are.
Imagine a MXoN with dream team US against Mongolia, Venezuela and no France, Uk, Belgium, Germany, Italy....

It just stinks that the MEC is more important than the MXdN...the date of the MXdN wouldn't really matter if the MEC wasn't so important to the riders.

Doesn't Monster sponsor both events? Wouldn't it be in their best interest to maybe shift the MEC back a ways in order to get more high profile riders at the MXoN?

It is hard for the AMA guys to have a month off before the race. I wish there'd be more breaks in SX, a longer break between SX and MX, or more breaks in MX in order to push the end of the season closer to the MXoN.
