Does anybody know what the frame traction material is that Roczen ran on his Suzuki and now Honda? Looks like rubber too.

Is it not mototape? Mototape looks nice when freshly put on but only takes 2-3 motos (or less) to wear a hole through completely. Stuff is junk and way overpriced.
3M grey grip tape is pretty cheap, and usually is sold by the foot at hardware stores in 1", 2", and 3" wide. Its also widely available online.
No, I run mototape on my air box covers and it’s awesome! But the close up pics I’ve seen of Roczen’s bikes are grey rubber. No where around here has textured rubber grip material. I just ordered some clear textured rubber grip tape off Amazon so we’ll see how that works. Still curious what Roczen uses.

3M stuff is better IMO
And costs a lot less. Buy one set of the Throttle jockey and made a template with it and have used the 3M stuff after on my 250f, worked perfect.
Not knocking the TJ stuff, it does give it that factory look.
Got a link to your source? I bought some of this clear rubberized stuff too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AV0IPLU/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
TJ is selling 3m tape. It says it on the backing paper. I bought a set when I bought graphics and it lasted about 15 hours. 3M safety walk 370 gray is the name to buy it in bulk and cut your own. Also bought some clear rubberized tape to put on airbox and shrouds. Not as aggressive as the 3m, but still helps grip on slippery plastics.
Skateboard grip tape...
None of that shit holds up for more than 2 days anyway.
Tomac and/or Anderson for 2020.....
Thanks! Just ordered some off eBay. I’ve got some 2” clear stuff off Amazon being delivered today that I’ll have to compare to as well.
Edited Date/Time:
This is the only stuff we have found that lasts for my oldest kid for more than a few rides. He torture tests for a couple local product guys-
Stuff is really thick and grippy-
TrikTape
I am cheap and have bought almost every type of industrial grip to make my own. The stuff I linked is cheap and thicker by orders of magnitude than anything I was ever able to find. Plus he does custom colors.....
