He’s just trying to throw everyone off the trail of what he’ll be riding next year. Next we’ll see him testing a Sur-Ron, then a HD Street Bob, then a four-wheeler.

Looks pretty fast, as always. Funny that the drone is almost louder than the bike!

He said the chain broke and he wasn’t comfortable. Weird coming from Kenny.

Honestly it's a pretty rare opportunity for both parties. A new manufacturer gets feedback from a current top level pro, and he gets to try whatever the hell he wants for content since he's not under any contract.

The whoops were especially heinous.

The rest of it sounds like my freaking drone.

Nothing will ever compare to a 2-stroke.....nothing.

That is a really strange comparison.

Some people like motocross for the thrill, the physical fitness, the uniqueness and individualism of the competition and the tracks, and the adrenaline rush involved. I find it hard to believe that someone would like motocross so much for the loud noises, that they would quit the sport if that noise went away; but here you have it.Dry Especially a guy who apparently has been a fan of the sport for more than forty years.

Just wondering if the AMA still had the first year factory production rule in place that Yamaha used for their 400 yzm?
Would that allow Stark to compete in 23?

I don't think anyone is denying that. Listening to an all electric race will be weird. But they're still fun to ride.

I've barely ridden the past 6-7 years, if I had an E bike readily available I'm positive I'd get out more.

I don't think so, there were already rules in place for certain displacement 4 strokes to race the classes available when that bike came out. There are zero rules talking about E bikes racing the current pro classes.

Said it before. As a fan...It's all a sensory experience. Race gas exhaust fumes, the sound...are a big factor along with the obvious visual aspect.

22 of these bikes lined up at a starting gate and weeeee weeee'ing away as the gate drops amd clunk clunk clunk thru the whoops.. Not for me.

Pro racing on eMXs would suck, just like Formula E sucks in comparison to Formula 1.

But I’m looking forward not having to listen to hobby riders murdering their clutch and missing every shift at my local track.

The drone sound that you heard could've been the drone?

First, Kenny riding a Stark is rad.

Second,

Why do people think that the release of the Stark Varg immediately means no more gas bikes? Why can't you understand that it's just a new player in the game? Another option. Alta got the same type of reaction 5-6 years ago when they entered the market. People acted like government was going to take their 2 strokes away, yet here we are.
