Of course chad knows his body. Any athlete does.

Aldon had a big hand in elevating Rc and rv to the next level. That's not done by accident dude.

I guess I should just let all the hockey , football , and baseball teams know they should fire all the trainers and coaches now. The athletes should be able to figure it out on their own.

Villiopoto has publicly stated he knew aldon was what he needed to get to the next level. That by itself is good enough for me.

Sure. No problem.

Watch the great outdoors 2011, that's where poto makes his baker comment. He admitted the training was the one piece of the the puzzle he was missing , and named aldon by name.

Rc's is tougher , but he had Jonny o, then Jeff spencer if my memory serves prior to the 2001 season. He came in to 01 lean and in better shape than he had ever been before. Then there's the rest of his career , which he used aldon to the end. Given the price he was paying, he didn't keep him around for fun.

If that's not proof for you I'm not sure what is.

I'm not all fired up about trainers. The riders are the guys going fast, but the trainer helps them condition themselves to get there. They have a purpose that they serve. And Aldon does know MUCH more about body mechanics and chemical makeup than Reed ever will. It's not what you learn in PE. . .

You're misdirecting.

Clearly what Reed is doing is making him win championships. . . Your point is idiotic. . .

If it were even questionable that trainers weren't an essential part of a training program, you would not see as many top guys using trainers. Hell, even Dungey has signed on with Aldon.

Your condescension is clearly your way of covering up what you don't know.

Reed and whoever his trainer was VS RC and Aldon...

Many would say Reed had more talent on the bike than RC, so what took RC to the next level and not Chad?

Stop arguing with #991. At a certain point, stupid is set in its ways, and arguing isn't going to help him see things clearly. Confirmation bias is a powerful thing.

Thank you! That's awfully kind of you to say.
You can catch me for about 30 seconds on each Moto:60 show every Thursday before a race.

Yeah, just take a few online courses to become a personal trainer and make 350k a year!
You're like those bots that flood ESPN's comment section.

He makes over 300k a year and has his name on almost every championship in the past 5 years.
Do you not think he's a pretty big piece to these riders puzzles?

I mean, you can look at Baggett, JS7 etc after they left Aldon...

I have to agree with you. Aldon has lots of championships, but he's worked with the best riders. Carmichael won championships before he trained with him, RV won championships before too, as did Roczen. These guys are all top riders and have been for a long long time. It's not like these guys wouldn't have achieved any of the things they have done in the sport without him. I just don't believe all the hype about him. It's alright saying he obviously works because Roczen's at the front, but it's not like Roczen was a no-one who suddenly started training with Aldon and started winning. He's the best rider in the class and he's a world champ for goodness sake.

BTW it was me who was at GH when RV was there, he was extremely fast, as i said before, but I didn't see anything that I wasn't expecting from someone who is coming to GP's with the expectations of winning.

You need to question WHY all the top riders seek him out, no?
