Is Ken not with Oakley anymore? Always wearing the all black goggle without any branding.
It seems so.
I would not be surprised if those black goggles are a new upcoming model from Fox.

- Suzuki GSX-R 600 K7 track spec

- White GX Pro 20 Gravel
Michael explained that Roczen never had a contract with Oakley, he was just using them because his sponsor did not have a goggle he liked. Now that they came up with goggles he likes, he will stop using Oakley.
Can you expand on this? I can see it being true if he was running a blacked out set of Oakley’s but I can’t see how Fox would allow him to run another brand’s logo, yet prevent him from getting paid by them. And I can’t see Roczen running any goggle company for free.
You don't think riders have worn another company's goggles with there sponsors goggle strap on it??? Its happened plenty of times.

The all black goggle he has been wearing is a new Fox goggle, which is very similar to the airbrake.

Most likely Michael will chime in sooner or later, but that is how he explained it. Roczen did not have a contract with Oakley.
Edited Date/Time:
So Oakley had a Roczen signature edition of the Airbrakes even though Roczen wasn't an "Oakley athlete"?
That sounds weird and i'm skeptical.

I believe Oakley used to make Fox's goggle (not sure if they still do or not) so maybe that's why he was able to do it?
In 2014 he started the season in Fox goggles but switched to Oakley because I would assume he was having problems with it.
That doesnt make sense. Im pretty sure rozcen was getting paid via oakley
There are two kinds of people against dirt bikes, those who never tried and those who weren't good at them.
I don't know about Oakley and Roczen but I don't think Progrip pays a lot to Gajser for using their Goggle like that
Interesting so I'm assuming kennys fox deal was head to toe including goggles. Was the swap to shift gear the cause as shift didnt make a goggle and it would of looked weird running fox goggles with shift set up.

I think his change to shift gear was because he is a younger "free" rider. Shift is more like a "lifestyle" brand where fox was more hardcore moto. My understanding was fox wanted a younger rider in shift gear while they had Dungey and put Reed in fox. Roczen still a fox rider with helmets and boots, but fox just wanted to get someone of that caliper in shift cause they already had a top guy (dungey) in fox.
Speaking of his Roczen's Oakley Signature Goggle. I have two of the Dodge goggles still in their boxes signed .
I had to force myself not to wear one of them.
