Wasn't he saying a couple of months ago that he'd be back for outdoors, have I missed any updates?

He's been really quiet about his riding on Insta, which isn't like him. I know he started riding about 2 weeks ago because he posted a couple of pictures of him and AC together at the test track. Being at Hangtown (and race-ready) will be a pretty tall order, but if anyone can do it, Kroc can.

I think he is not sharing too much on purpose, to keep everyone wondering until the gate drops at Hangtown. Remember the last time we saw Roczen ride outdoors he was on a whole other level. I think he will be ready and will surprise people as long as his arm and hand don't hold him back too much

Is 4 weeks enough to train and regain speed before a pro race?

Kenny never stops working out, even when he's hurt. 4 weeks won't be that much to gap since his base is so good. Just hope he can put it in the 5-7 spot and NOT GET HURT.

The only question is how strong his arm will be, since I think it's still not truly 100% healed even from the first crash.

In terms of Ken himself, he'll be mentally 100% ready to win.

The last riding pic he posted had a T-rex emoji. Might have some work to do

Speed doesn't go away. Fitness and conditioning do. Race rust, conditioning (for racing, not being in shape) and the mental aspect will be the issues, not speed. I'm sure Roczen is in shape, and has been training constantly. But no matter what training you do, nothing can replace pounding out laps on the track.

Yea, it just hit me that outdoors is so close and the KR94 hype train hasn't seemed to of left the station yet. Looked closely for a thread like this before starting my own...

I don't know about you guys but I'm excited to see him race outdoors. I think championship domination like we've seen in the past is a tall order considering what he's been through the last 2 seasons but I hope he can be on the podium consistently and grab a couple overall wins. I think that would be a huge accomplishment considering his injuries.

I'd be surprised if he races. He just had pins removed a week ago, he literally has big holes in his bones. Doubt the bone will have enough strength. But I could be wrong.

The Zillion dollar question is where/what does he ride next year? Does Honda retain him or cut him loose?

Kenny may actually becoming a bit humble with age. I mean, that's doubtful...but it could happen. He's been very "vocal" on IG and Twitter in the past, and failed to deliver. So, maybe he's learning to not give the haters any ammo and keeping his program to himself.

As for the question of him staying on Red...I doubt seriously that Honda would cut him, and doubt even more that another brand could pony up what Honda is paying him.

He will be fine. He just has to worry about Anderson who has done very little if any outdoor testing due to his focus on the SX championship. All other top contenders will implode like always.

I think it's only a 2 week recovery when removing pins. That's what they told me about some pins in my foot anyhow. I'ts pretty quick to 100%.

I forget, did he have a two or three year deal? If three then forget my comment.

Definitely a different social media strategy than last time. What that means, who knows.

Nope, he will have mobility and cramping challenges. Will take some time to get back into race shape and that comes with seat time

I know it's great for all us fans that we only have to suffer through one weekend without racing. But honestly, it sux that the racers only have one weekend off between Supercross and outdoors. They should have at least a couple weeks to get healthy and do their final testing before the Nationals.

Damn, where’s he surfing, Rootbeer Lake?

That's pretty much any lake in Florida.

Tannic acid causes the water to look brown.

It comes from the trees growing around the lakes.

RedBull Lake. It's a true action sports drink/lake.

Probably because last time he had an epic crash and an epic injury that were both well publicized. This time he got hurt getting revenge on a rider he should be beating. Don't take this as me hating, I'm just saying I would be a little bit embarrassed.
