Rockwell Racing Yamaha is excited to announce the addition of Gared “Stank Dog” Steinke to the team for the final two rounds of 250 West Supercross. Gared will join current team rider Bradley Lionnet aboard a Eric Angelski-tuned 2019 Yamaha YZ250F.

“The timing of his addition couldn’t be better” said Ryan Clark. “We have been planning a really unique co-branding promotion with the band Slayer, and Gared Steinke was a natural fit with his fun-loving attitude, rock star attitude and wide-open riding style. Team partners Leatt and Nuclear Blast records have gone above and beyond, and we couldn’t be more excited to hit the track in the Mile-High city.”

Steinke has been out of action since an injury at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm last October, but the longtime Arenacross veteran is hecka-stoked to get back on track and see all of his friends and fans. Please swing by the Rockwell Racing Yamaha pits on Saturday to root him on and snag a pic with the one and only “Stank Dog”.
Rockwell Racing Yamaha is supported by the following fine companies:

Staink is a throwback. Good for him and look forward to a interview.

Leatt would be smart to release this if they can work out the copyright details.

The team doesn't do outdoors so I don't think the collaboration between Nuclear Blast/Slayer and Leatt will be a go.

Slayer is on the roster of Nuclear Blast records and they sponsor the Rockwell Team.

I'm pretty sure that Slayer is on a world tour so it made sense for Nuclear Blast to promote the band since they're already involved in the sport.

Perfect match considering Stankdog looks like a rock star.
