Should have been 250 4T vs 250 2T and open 2T’s against 450’s if this is not an AMA sanctioned event.

God. Look at all that. Anyone realize the amount of work there is putting something like that together?

He makes money on that, he just might be the guy that could create a separate, non FIM National MX or SX Series here in the US.

Why doesn't someone adjust the cc rules in the 4 stroke - 2 stroke classes. This is not an ama event so why the upside down cc rule?

why does this whole event sound like something pulled from mx vs atv?

EDIT: GuyB are they letting the utvs and trophy trucks race on the mx track?? If so all the mx riders are gonna be bitching about blue groove...and you guys think quads are bad.

When I was a kid, my dad took me to the SCORE off road world championships at Riverside international raceway, this sounds very similar to that. It was badass.

If this is all on the same track don't expect a typical mx event for the bikes. Maybe they will try the reverse direction like the MTEG to get some steeper faces for air and speed reduction. It can make for an odd mx track.

How do you think they are raising the money for the winners prize? It's basically just 100% payback of the entry fees.

They need $27,500 total which means they would need 110 riders to signup between both classes. I think that is fairly realistic and they will likely have some sort of qualifier to get down to a 40 person gate.

How many riders (on average) have been registered for AMA nationals on the West cost? It doesn't seem that crazy that they could expect 50-70 entrants per class especially give it is not AMA sanctioned and you don't have to have a Pro license.

It is an interesting event but, don't forget the added fees. Remember, these are car racing guys. They are accustomed to all of this stuff. It's going to be interesting to see the turnout since the payout is so top heavy. This is a lot of cash to spend if you are a slower local pro who has little chance of purse money. Plus, it is a 3 day commitment.

Entry fee: $250

USAC Drivers license special Glen Helen only: $85 above says that it is required

Crew license: $150 totally normal for car racing entry into pits. It doesn't say if this is required. It may be the $85 single even credential (still expensive), or just the weekend wrist band below. I would guess higher. The car racing guys use the back gate to make a lot of money.

Weekend wrist band: $70 Racing is 3 days your crew will at least need this.

Best case scenario for you and one crew member. $250 plus $70 x 2 (1rider and 1 crew) $85 license...total of $475

The Rose Bowl was nice. I took my girlfriend to a Supercross there in 85 or 86, I think Ward won. Good times.

You couldn't make blue groove at Glen Helen if you tried

Received a call from a high profile Supercross rider today who will be gunning after the 20k top prize.

As the date gets closer.

Lets put together a list of riders who are thinking of coming out? What's everyone heard?
