I've seen several Instagram story posts of him back on the 250 this week. He was on it Wednesday on Dean's story and at Perris today. Why is he back in the 250? I thought he was going 450 outdoor

Maybe they put him back on the 250 bc they heard jett could be out? So RJ could possibly make a run at the title?

Any chance he was trying out the 450 before signing on to ride it next year ?

Sometimes riders ride the 450 just to get into better shape and its easier on the team budget. A stock 450 is similar in power to the factory 250's apparently. Who knows, they have their own reasoning though.

The Rockstar Husqvarna team already has two 450 riders signed for 2023, with Malcolm Stewart entering the second year of his contract and Christian Craig incoming on a two year deal. It is extremely unlikely the team runs three 450s next year.

Any idea what deano is doing?
Sx only on a sx team? And world sx? Retirement?

With Dean being a new dad I would think he is done.

So deano retires? Maybe MCR to take Brayton's spot?

I don’t think you’ll see MCR run a 450 in the states next year. And JB will likely race Global SX for them.

Are you saying that Jett's the only one that can stop RJ from making a run at the title?

RJ's biggest competition is himself.

RJ can't stay off the ground along enough. Jett and Hunter are the favorites hands down. Cooper, Forkner and Shimoda along with Mosiman can run the pace but will not compete for the championship.

If even he does not fall all season, he still be unlikely to win the title .

Do you think we see Deano continue on a 1 year contract? He seems like a good fit and gets lots of attention media wise as well as social media wise

I had heard that Rockstar only stayed on with US team, after dropping all other teams, because of Dean. Any truth to that? Is there a chance we’ll see a Husqvarna Factory Racing Team sans Rockstar next year?

Cooper had the title in his sites before injury last year. If he is fit he has the best chance to take it off the Aussie brothers

I thought the same, however I don’t think Jett will be out but sometimes sprains are a pain in the ass so maybe he’ll just be having a slow start?

Rockstar signed an extension earlier this year with the team through 23

Title? I think needs to make a run at staying off the ground every race. Indoors and out

Interesting that he said the plan for the past two weeks was to have him on the 450 when they learned Malcolm would be out, but he got back on the 250 one day last week and was just as fast as the 450. They collectively decided he should race the 250. Pretty cool story this close to the series beginning. I also appreciated the transparency of him, Mosiman, and others. Good stuff.

RJ saying he was a 450 rider for 4 days tells me Mookie will not race this summer at all. Hope I'm wrong but Mookie and AC will not be seen again until after labor day.

That’s a bummer, the 450 ride list gets smaller and smaller. I’m assuming they’re focusing their 450 efforts for world sx.
