Thinking about heading south from MI for riding over the holidays, any recommendations?
Don’t have time to cross the entire country and hoping some good tracks are open in title states ?

Not sure of your route, but this Is a fun place to ride in eastern Ky near Grayson. MX track is not too technical, but fun. I’m not a mx guy at all, but I usually turn a few laps on this track. I ride there mainly for the gncc loop he has cut around the property. Owner is great guy too, old gncc racer from way back.

Tomahawk and Budds Creek
Thanks man, both would be sick. Guess depends on weather if they’ll be open.

Scenery looks awesome, would be cool for an in between stop if we head east somewhere.

I went to Uni of Kentucky for 4 years and when I lived there I went to Daniel boone MX and soggy bottom MX. Soggy bottom was great. I did some woods riding at a place called wildcat I think. It wasnt great.

As far as Kentucky goes, I hate to say it but there ain't much.
Daniel Boone Motocross is pretty convenient off of I-75 and occasionally do prepped practice on Sunday, worth hitting on your way back north from east Tennessee. South Fork Motoplex would be a solid stop when heading back north from the Nashville area and somewhat close to I-65 or I-165. Soggy Bottom, mentioned above (what up Dave??), was built by a pretty legit track builder and would be convenient if you do head to Virginia or West Virginia, and it's real close to the track JoeWV mentioned above.

Just spitballin' here...
Muddy Creek (everybody knows Muddy Creek) outside of Bristol TN ---> I-81 MX (Mike Brown had some involvement until selling his part a couple years ago) in Greeneville, not far from Muddy Creek ---> Windrock Park for some singletrack or downhill MTB in Oliver Springs TN ---> Daniel Boone MX on the way through Kentucky.

Appreciate it, this helps quite a bit. We’re leaning towards muddy creek or tomahawk as the main track and will scope a couple others for to/from. I’ll check the ones you listed - thanks!

Bit difficult to find open hours, do you know if these tracks run during the week or only Sat/Sun?

That I'm not sure about. Might throw them a message on Facebook and ask.
https://www.facebook.com/danielboone.motocrosspark I think DBMX is usually just open on Saturday and Sunday but won't hurt to ask
https://www.facebook.com/I81MotorsportsPark I-81 announced in October they're open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
https://www.facebook.com/muddycreekraceway Muddy Creek had a practice day scheduled for this passed weekend but cancelled, quite a bit of weather down this way. But I don't know what their typical winter schedule looks like. The promoter Victory Sports usually runs an indoor series around the area, not sure if that effects the MX track or not.

Appreciate it man!
Looks like muddy creek is closed until Feb7.. I81 on the way to Durhamtown is looking like a solid plan tho.
