Anyone think that it’s weird/lame for guys to wear hats/shirts etc that has their name on it. Can you picture yourself wearing a hat with your name on it in a setting where EVERYONE knows who you are?
Understand trying to make some revenue through merchandise but I just don’t get it.

5 months from now you’ll be complaining that you had to buy a $45 T shirt with Kenny on a Suzuki on it at the nationals and wonder why the riders can’t sell their own stuff at the races.

The idea of branding is something I can really get on board.
Building a brand is more then just slapping a logo on a shirt. It’s all the things you stand for, the skills you have learned, your work ethic, drive, personality, the people who surround you, achievements you’ve made, products you’ve developed. All of which are encompassed by the logo you created and recognized by those who believe in you.
If you think about it everyone is their own brand without knowing it. We all have spent our whole lives building a brand some are just more recognized than others. And most of us don’t have logos to promote our selves.

That's crazy talk.
If they offer a product or service that’s one thing, like A Mart wearing a Troll training shirt.. but Christian Craig wearing a CC hat.. I’m out.
