Like all things in life I’m sure it all boils down to leverage which varies from rider to rider. If a rider is a big enough name to impact sales, then they’d potentially be in a position to negotiate a fee upfront to appear in the film. My guess is most riders aren’t big enough names to impact demand, so they are probably happy to do it for free simply for fun/exposure. I know i would... although my skill set is more tailored towards blooper vids.
