Didn't Heath Voss win a WORLD AMA SX Championship on that Factory Yami? That's even more forgotten.

How about Stefan Everts in 2000 on a Husqvarna TC610 in the 500cc class:

He got injured before the season and I don't believe he ever raced a GP on that bike before getting out of his contract and switching to Yamaha.

Perhaps the ultimate fill in, Matt Goerke on Factory Yamaha. Wins at Southwick 2009.

How about Ben Riddle?

Didn't Blair Morgan have a team SX ride one year?

I don't believe Blair Morgan ever had a US ride. He did win the 4 stroke US Open.

Jean-Sebastien Roy rode for Planet Honda.

Darcy Lange (already mentioned) rode for Pro Circuit Kawasaki.

Dusty Klatt rode for Star Racing Yamaha.

Doug DeHaan rode for the Butler brothers.

Cole Thompson rode for Slaton Racing/Nuclear Blast.

Jeremy Medaglia rode for Yamaha of Troy.

Colton Facciotti (already mentioned) rode for Troy Lee Honda.

I believe this was Zach's first SX race. He had a few good rides after that, but was crashed a lot and was hurt a lot. Ironically, he's transitioned pretty well into off-road racing, which is definitely where I'd expect more epic crashes.

Weirdest thing for me about that crash is that the only pictures I saw of it were these (I think Guyb shared these pics I dunno who owns the camera).. I'm no sadist that needs to see bad crashes but they are spectacular pics

He was wearing mismatched gear this race as well. Had to borrow someone else’s pants.

I couldn't even find any photos, but anyone remember Roncada riding for Motoworld Yamaha in 2006?
Only qualified for two races that year, finished 16th and 22nd, and then never raced again.

Cole Thompson also rode for Star Yamaha for a short amount of time, I believe it was in 2012. Although I think he was just a fill in.

Yep, 2009 US Open. I believe he was being sponsored by a dealer and/or some other sponsors from the Georgia area. To my understanding, it was always going to be something of a one-off. Don't think Lusk ever had an intention of reentering the entire SX series, but I may be mistaken.

It was Tony Alessi going crazy on PulpMX, said 1000x times he had DOC-U-MEN-TATION of Kyle Regal and the AMA running a drug ring or something. Alex Jones would have been proud
