Ricky has some epic passing skillz thats for sure. in my opinion, that video is evidence that the GOAT is a far better "racer" then james will ever be. not saying james is a slacker, just saying i think when it came down to "racing" (line selection, skill, determanation, aggression, passing) Ricky takes the cake. and truth is, yes i like Ricky, gotta respect the man, but as i get older, the more Ricky really becomes the GOAT in my eyes. for what he does both on and off the track. for his fans and for the sport. the man is a true legend....

That was like a "How to Pass Chad Reed" clinic. No offense to CR but man he was on the short end of too many RC ans JS passes.
RC=the only guy to pressure MC into mistakes in SX.

Poor Chad Reed was the guy getting passed in about half of those clips. It's too bad we didn't get to enjoy more years of Carmichael and Stewart really battling outdoors.

There was one person that seemed to bear the brunt of most of those passes!!! I guess it is good to always be up there.

Sounds like you were screaming and cheering at that clip. They both had their good points, both great "Racers".

Wow! This dude has spent some serious time to build this vid. Actually pretty cool music as well!

And it becomes clear now how much Stew and RC dominated, and I almost feel sorry for Chad, talk about being owned...

Timing is everything, KW may have a title or 3 if it wasnt for that lil um dude, RC
Even thou chad gets past so much, props to him for at least being in front for a while, and rarely finishing off the podium.

all 3 are amazing.

I really like how James effortlessly passed 40 riders in the Millville Sandwoops.

In sx, looks like both RC and JS make a ton of passes with their superior speed through the whoops, Outdoors, well they both look like lunatics at times! JS at 7:45 for example... I truly wish we could have seen the 2 go at it outdoors for 5-6 years on 450's, when they did, it was WFO bouncing off each other, but clean, its rare to see moto long battles like that outdoors. Really rare!

I quote 47 because I hope this doesn't dengenerate into another black and white ( pun not intended) thread of my guy is better than yours...what really matters is that these 2 are far and above the rest and 2 of the best athletes in the world.

That video makes in plainly obvious that outdoors is SO MUCH COOLER than Supercross....

I started looking away during the supercross vids...but the outdoor vids had me hooked!

The pass on Windham at Binghamton was one of the gnarliest ever. RC just hucked that.

The 06 battles between Stewart and RC outdoors were so great. Man it would have been great to have a few more years of that.

It's pretty funny how a lot of the people who bash Barcia for supposedlly riding rough worship RC. RC ran guys in hard all the time.

Apparently you're supposed to ask politely whether that line is taken.

3 Things: 1) Its amazing to see where RC and James in some of those clips happen to be on another planet in finding speed. 2) Its amazing to see how much scrubbing actually can help in certain instances. 3) Wish we could've seen RC and Bubba in the primes of their carreer going at it, those battes of those two are epic!

Oh and it doesn't ever look like Reed put up much of a fight when getting passed in those clips, looks like a girlscout!
