Alright, lets get this going- somebody please re-post the paypal account info on this thread, Ricky said he was thinking about trying again in New Orleans, so lets get the $wagon persuation dealio rolling. (and this time, no promises for $ IF he makes the main, donate the greenies up front.)

Question - did everyone pay up who claimed they would for making the night show or is this your standard"all talk" where only a few guys actually ponied up after the night show?

Here's a thought if you need more $$ for trying this again - I'm sure business owners might be more willing to "sponsor" you for one race from their company funds, instead of paying you personal money out of their pockets.

For example, I would offer several hundred dollars to "sponsor" you to "market" my business, but that would mean you would have to print a set of graphics with the company names of those who sponsored you - easy. In this case, a section of your graphics (say your fenders for example) might look like a microsoft word document with tiny text/logos, but I wouldn't care as long as my company name IS on there somewhere...this might be an easier way to rake in some "sponsorship" dollars.

I think the first question should be:

What does he want to do?

It might be easy to get swept up the the VitalMX enthusiasm here and head down a road that's not really right for him. Clearly someone that has the talent/desire to race a 2T at the National level could probably get some pretty good support here if they went about it correctly.

First is talent and desire, second step is a plan.

Oh I agree 100%, I know a guy who raced a 144 for a whole season and never had a problem. But he wasn't dumb enough to post it on a public forum either.

I think Renner is going to be off doing some exhibition stuff with his brother, Daytona was just a fun race and close to home for him, I doubt they would come back with a cheater bike.

I'm sure he'll be back with a legal bike. Hell, it was legal at Daytona, he just told all the 4 stroke lovers it was a 144 so they wouldn't feel so bad getting their asses handed to them on their 290 and 302F's.Laughing

New Orleans. 125. Obviously the 144 wasn't that reliable. Mud or not. But I'll give it a shot in a dome just for the fans, not fair to you guys to go out with a DNF. Unfinished business.
