Good stuff Guy B., I feel like I remember every second of that race, as well as the crazy Lites class where Dungey got taken out off the start by a bike going the wrong way, and then Branden Jesseman holding off Mike Alessi for the most unlikely SX win since, what, Brian Deegan's ghost ride at the Coliseum?

Good stuff GuyB and Benchracer, I was there in 2005 and 2006, I was mad that I didn't make it down there in 2007 for Ricky's last SX race.

Whatever happened to Lange? Can’t remember for sure but wasn’t he battling cancer? He had a good shot at the title if I remember right.

I posted about him in the Riders I Forgot Rode For Certain Teams thread. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma years ago, went through treatment and successfully beat it. He now works for his father in law.

Awesome! Good to hear. I was stoked he got the chance with pro circuit.

Not sure about those 1/2 blue, 1/2 silver Yamaha rims. Surprised I don't remember seeing them at the time.

Were they available optional to the public on the new models that year?
