So ex-motocrosser Rickie Fowler finished 14th in golf's British Open yesterday. Shot a 67 in the final round. For his efforts he won £70,00 or about $107,000 USD. Tommy Hahn finished 14th at Millville. I wonder what he pulled down.

I'm thinking Rickie made a pretty good career choice.

I am pretty sure Rickie is Terry's son. Terry Fowler was a so cal staple in the 80's on the local pro scene.

Yeah he's a good kid. His parents live a few miles from us here in Murrieta. A few years ago he donated his time to be one of the golf pro's at our spinal cord injury fund raising golf tournament, he blew everyone away with his golf skills.

Glad to see he's doing so well.

It's not called the British Open. It's The Open.

The first, the original, and this year held at the home of golf.

Yours pedantically
